Why Irvington Members Recheck Every Fall
Medicare plans are rewritten every year. A plan that was perfect for you last January may look very different next January, with a new drug list, different copays or a changed network.
The Annual Notice of Change, mailed by the end of September, lists what is different. Most people never read it carefully. A short yearly review with us does that work for you.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.
What We Check
- Whether your doctors, specialists and hospital remain in network
- Your prescriptions, their tiers and any new restrictions
- Changes to premiums, deductibles, copays and the out-of-pocket limit
- Dental, vision and hearing benefits and allowances
- Whether you now qualify for help such as Extra Help or a Medicare Savings Program
We compare your current plan's new year with other plans we offer and show you the difference in plain numbers.
Important Dates
Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7. Changes you make take effect January 1. If you are in Medicare Advantage, the January 1 through March 31 window gives one more chance to switch plans or return to Original Medicare.
Waiting until the first week of December can mean busy phone lines and rushed choices. We suggest scheduling your review in late October or November.
Life Changes Worth Mentioning
If you moved, had a new diagnosis, started seeing a new specialist, began a new medication, or had your income change, let us know. These can shift which plan fits best, or open a Special Enrollment Period outside the fall season.
Even if nothing changed for you, your plan may have changed. A review often confirms you are already in the right place, which is worth knowing too.
Talk It Over at No Charge
Have your medication list and your doctors' names handy. We set your current coverage beside the options we carry and show what changes in dollars and in access to care. Most calls finish in about half an hour, nobody asks you to commit on the spot, and you can learn about our agency beforehand.
